Post-Matric Scholarship for Minorities for Fresh/Renewal 2014-2015:

Recently the Ministry of Minority Affairs Directorate of Minorities, Karnataka has declared the Post Matric Scholarship for fresh and renewal for the Academic year 2014-15 which is to be awarded to those students who belongs to Minority Communities such as (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis) who are studying from Class 11th to Ph.D. in the state of Karnataka.

Class XI (1st PUC),
Class XII (2nd PUC),
Vocational Courses – I.T.I/I.T.c., JOC< Polytechnic Diploma, Paramedical Diploma, D.Ed, D.Pharma,GNM, 
Graduation – B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, B.B.M, B.C.A, BSW, B.Ed, B.P.Ed, B.LibSc, BTA etc. 
Post Graduation
 – M.A, M.Sc, M.Com, MSW, M.Ed, M.PEd, MTA, PG Diploma, etc., M.Phil, Ph.D, BA ( LLB).


  1. The state students who are applying for Post Matric Scholarship Fresh/ Renewal in the year 2013-14 are eligible to apply for Renewal in 2014-15.
  2. Those eligible students who have scored minimum 50% marks or above in the previous year examination are also eligible for Renewal process.
  3. The students are informed that they should not have any backlog in the previous year.
  4. Those student whose parent’s annual income should not exceed upto Rs. 2,00,000/- lac per annum from all sources is eligible for Renewal of scholarship.
  5. If any student wish to know regarding their Permanent ID of previous year 2013-2014 than they care required to visit the official website which is gokdam.kar.nic.in.



Here we are providing the process of renewal of post matric scholarship and the important guidelines are furnished below for your assistance:


  1. First you are required to visit  momascholarship.gov.in and after that click on ‘Post Matric Scholarship’ option.
  2. After that you are required to click on ‘Student Registration’ and then on ‘ I know permanent ID’.
  3. After submitting the ID you need to click on Submit Button.
  4. Now you need to fill the required details in the form and then click on ‘Save’.
  5. After filling the particulars kindly click on ‘Freeze & Print Report’ tab.
  6. Now you need to take 6 print out copy of filled application form.
  7. After this process you are required to visit to the link momascholarship.gov.in and Click on the ‘Post Matric Scholarship’ box
  8. Click on ‘Browse’ tab. Upload following documents one after one.
  • Institution Verification Form
  • Declaration of Family Income
  • Declaration of Student
  • Previous Exam Passed Marks sheet
  • Fee paid Receipt of “Current Course Year”
  • Bank Account with a name of Student
  • Annual income details (as declared in income certificate or affidavit)
  • Aadhaar Card No.
  • Residence Proof

9. After updating the above details please click on ‘View’ to confirm the correctness of the updated details.

10. Now you can submit the hard copy of application with the supported documents to the concerned District Officer Minorities/ District Officer Backward Classes and Minorities of your District.



  1. Those student who are applying for fresh scholarship must have secured minimum 50% marks in the previous exam as well as qualifying exam.
  2. The annual income of student’s parents should not exceed upto  Rs. 2,00,000/- lac per annum from all sources.
  3. The student should not have backlogs in any of the previous years of their studies
  4. Those students who are pursuing internship are not eligible to apply for scholarship.
  5. Those students who are taking education by correspondence and short term courses or training are also not  eligible for the same.
  6. Students from other communities except the mentioned above are not eligible to apply.
  7. Those students who are from Other state are not eligible to apply.

• First you are required to visit to the web portal of the momascholarship.gov.in and Click on the ‘Post Matric Scholarship’ box
• Then you need to click on  ‘Student Registration’ and then Click on ‘Student Registration’
• You are suggested to read and follow the Steps and fill the online form carefully with required details.
• After filling of all the details, click on ‘Save’ tab and ‘Verify’ all the details.
• After checking all the fields please click on ‘Finalize and Submit’
• Click on the ‘Preview and Print Report’ you will see your 7 page filled in Application
• Then you need to download the filled application and save it and take a print out copy of downloaded online application form.
• Go to your College/ Institution, get details filled in Page-5 of the Hard Copy of the Application manually by the Head of the Institution.
• You are informed to attach all the supported Documents which  are required along with HARD copy and Send it to District Officer Minorities/ District Officers Backward Classes and Minorities of your District respectively by personally/ Post / Courier.

Required Document:


  1. Copy of Previous year passed examination mark sheet.
  2. Copy of Previous Semesters/Year mark sheet or Online Result Print Out.
  3. Copy of Income Certificate which is issued by the Tahsildar.
  4. Copy of the Fee Receipt which is issued by the college for the current year.
  5. Recent passport size photograph which has to be affixed on the first page of the application
  6. Details of Bank Pass Book having students name, branch name, account no. and IFSC code.
  7. For students whose permanent address is located in Dharwad, Mysore And Tumkur Districts, additional – photocopy of Aadhar Card/Acknowledge receipt must be attached.
  8. All the copies must be attested by any gazetted officer.

Important Dates:
Submission of Online Application on 15th September, 2014 (last date)
Submission of duly signed printed version (hard copy)
of online applications to the concerned office 25th September, 2014
