nest.net.in : Nationwide Education and Scholarship Test (NEST 2015)
All the eligible applicants are informed that their filled in applications are invited and the also the bonafide students of all the respected and recognised schools or colleges of Class 10th, 11th and 12th (only Science Stream) for the award of several scholarships worth Rs 25,000/- to Rs 50,000/- each.
The Certificates of Appreciation will also be awarded to all those studenst who scored highest marks or grade in the test with All India Ranking (AIR)
The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of merit by an online test of 02 hours for 200 questions for 200 Marks.
This test comprises of 4 sections of 50 questions each (1 question will carry 1 mark each) in Physics & Chemistry, Maths/Biology, English Language and Simple Logic and General Knowledge subjects.
Total Number of Scholarships and its Amount:
There are minimum 20 scholarships worth of Rs.25000/- each for the top 20 scores (Rs.50,000/- to rank #1 in the list)
Certificates: The Certificates of Appreciation will be awarded to all those candidates who have score aggregate of 40% and above of all the 4 sections put together in the test.
Prize Distribution: The topper winning the scholarships shall be facilitated in a gathering presided over by some renowned person/s of knowledge and/or enterprise in the last week of October 2015 in Mumbai
Syllabus: The content and level of questions will be based on SSC and HSC books and it is prescribed by the CBSE, ICSE and other State boards in India
This test contains total 4 sections which are as given below:
- Physics & Chemistry – 50 (No. of Questions); 50 Marks
- Maths / Biology – 50 (No. of Questions); 50 Marks
- English Language – 50 (No. of Questions); 50 Marks
- Logic & G.K – 50 (No. of Questions); 50 Marks
Total (All Sections in Two Hours): 200 questions; 200 marks
Eligibility Criteria :
Only bonafide students of India who are appearing or passing in class 10th – 12th exam 2015 of the science stream may apply for NEST Junior Scholarship 2015
If there is any student who has won the top prize in previous editions are not able to appear again in the same category.
In all State Capitals and other major cities of India; you are required to check list on its official website to select a centre in or near your city, such as the following:

Please note that you choice of centre may be changed to any other nearby centre if the number of candidates at centres is less than 100 and/or for any other strategic or emergency reasons.
Except in a situation beyond our control, we will inform you about any such change in advance, at least 15 days before the test.
All eligible candidates are required to apply for NEST Junior 2015 either in online mode or offline mode.
Here are the Step by Step Guidelines for NEST Junior 2015
Offline Application Form:
Step 1 – First you need to get the Application Form which can e obtained via online from its official website.
Step 2 – Now you are required to fill up the Application Form. All Candidates have to fill up the Application Form very carefully, correctly and completely; students are also required to paste a passport size photo on the application form.
There are two various levels of subjects, such as Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) and Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM). The candidate must tick-mark any one of them
Step 3 – Students needs to submit the Application Form. Candidates are required to send their duly filled Application Form to the given address below by the mode of Registered Post/ Courier amd attached with a Demand Draft of Rs.500/- which has to be made in favor of SEMCI INDIA and payable at Mumbai SEMCI , INDIA, B-1 Piccadilly Flats’, 57-J, Clare Road, Byculla, Mumbai-400008

The student needs to upload their passport size photo of max. 100 kb in JPG, JPEG, GIForTIF format; the student should also keep their scanned copy of the photograph ready before you start with your application process. Students applying online can make payment either via DD or Online Payment. Registration Fees Rs.500 if paid till 31st March 2015
Late fee of Rs.100 will be charged if paid after 31st March but till 31st May 2015.
Late fee of Rs.200 will be charged if paid after 31st May 2015 but till 30th June 2015.
Fees once deposited will not be returned even if the test is cancelled for any genuine reasons.

All students are informed that the Demand Draft shall be made in favour of “SEMCI India” which has to be payable at Mumbai. The candidate must put up their own name and/or registration number on the back side of the Demand Draft.
If you are paying by the mode of Demand Draft, then your application will be accepted and you will receive the confirmation of its acceptance only after the receipt of your Demand Draft in our office and its encashment.
Submission of Application Form:
All students who needs to apply via online are not required to send the application form to the organisers of the scholarship exam. Students who have applied offline are required to send the application form along with the demand draft on the given address above and it must reach the organisers before the last date. There is no need of attestation, verification or recommendation required for participation.
