How to Check PRAN Application Status through in Mumbai

Request for Subscriber Registration Status :

The customer may check the status with the concerned associated nodal office who has submitted the application form to CRA-FC.

When  the PRAN (Permanent Retirement Account Number) is generated by system,then  an email alert and also a SMS alert will be sent to the registered email ID and valid mobile number of the customer. This active service is now recently available for the State Government employees and the same will be available for the Central Government employees very soon.

Online Check PRAN Application Status :
If you want to know more about the application status of PRAN (Permanent Retirement Account Number) online, then you are requested to follow the furnished steps below:

Step-1 : First you are required to enter the PRN(Permanent Retirement Account Number) or Ack Number
Step-2 : Then enter the PAO/DTO/POP-SP/CBO Reg. Number and
Step-3 : Now click on “Search” button.

 More About PRAN :
After the successful registration, a PRAN (Permanent Retirement Account Number) will be allotted to the active subscriber. A PRAN Kit consist the Permanent Retirement Account Number card, Subscriber details (referred as Subscriber Master List), and an information and important details booklet which is sent along with the T-Pin and I-Pin to the associated concerned office. The PRAN Card is an important document with PRAN, subscriber’s name, father’s name, photograph and signature or thumb impression. This important card proves  the  completeness of information in the CRA system. Then a  copy of the card is required for Tier II activation and also for subsequent contribution in Tier II account. The active Subscriber Master List shows all the latest information which as provided by the subscriber in his or her application and according to that it is captured in CRA system. A subscriber can easily verify the correct  information which has been submitted for registration by looking at the Subscriber Master List.

The subscribers shall call at CRA’s toll free number 1800 222 080 and activate the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) or they can speak to our customer care executive by just using the T-PIN (Telephonic Personal identification Number).

Contact details of non receipt of PRAN Card :

PRAN Card is delivered to the nodal offices within 3 weeks that is 21 days from the day of receipt of the filled registration form at the CRA-FC concerned office. In case of non-receipt of the PRAN Card, a subscriber may easily check with the associated nodal office or he can check the status by accessing CRA official website : and simply click on link “Track the status of the PRAN Card”.

 Change request Status through IVR :

The active subscribers can easily check their application  status of the change request through IVR. After accessing the IVR and by using the T-PIN, subscribers are required to choose the option of checking the status of the change request and enter the acknowledgement receipt number which is system generated by the CRA system and once the request is processed successfully by the PAO. Then the subscribers can also speak to the customer care executive to check the status.

 Timing of Registration:
Once the  registration form is submitted to DDO, the same will be forwarded to a CRA – Facilitation Centres after authorization by the PAO. The PRAN (Permanent Retirement Account Number) is system generated and the PRAN card is printed and delivered within 21 days that is 3 weeks from the date of receipt of duly filled registration form at the CRA – Facilitation Centre.
