Process to get the Water connection for Non-Domestic reason in Bangalore (BWSSB):
The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) is providing the water for drinking which have the excellent quality water with adequate quantity which is provided to all citizens of the state. For the non-domestic purposes, the process required to obtain water connection / phase is just the same.
If you want to get the facility of water supply and UGD, then in that case you are required to get the application form which is easily available from the BWSSB service stations, water supply sub divisional centers or divisional offices by just submitting Rs. 30/- for the application form.
After that you are required to submit your filled in application form along with the required supportive documents list. And you are suggested that you can submit it by just visiting to the concerned office or through a licensed plumber in the Office of Assistant Executive Engineer in SubDivision.
After the submission process of application form along with document, you are informed to get the formation within 7 days of time from the date of application submission.
Documents required :
First you are required to submit the Road cutting endorsement from BMP or BDA
After that you need to submit the Tax paid Receipt with application
Now submit the copy of Sanctioned Plan which is issued by BMP or BDA or Gram Panchayat or CMC.
Then you are required to submit the appropriate fee of Rs. 1650/- which includes the cost of meter and meter deposits.
Remember the important points of Checklist
Increased rates of non-domestic water:
BWSSB has increased the water rate for non-domestic use from Rs. 36/- per 1000 litre to Rs. 50/- per 1000 litre for first 10,000 litre of water.
In the 2nd phase, from Rs. 39/- per 1000 litre to Rs. 57/ 1000 litre has been increased for 10,000 to 20,000 litre of water.
In the 3rd phase, the rate of 20 thousand to 40 thousand liters of water increased from Rs 65 to Rs 44/litre.
In the 4th stage, from 40 thousand to 60 thousand per liter increased from Rs 76 to Rs 51 has been extended
For use of 60,000 to 1 lakh litre water, the rate has been extended from Rs. 57/- to Rs. 87/litre.
