University of Sussex is inviting all the outstanding and talented applicants along with their filled application for scholarships which is designed for Indian students.

These Scholarships are available for those applicants who wants to pursue their masters degree level at University of Sussex. If you want to be eligible for a scholarship then you are advised that you must be a self-financing student from India and must have accepted an offer of a full time place on a Masters course at the University of Sussex which is commencing in September 2015. Scholarship will be awarded as a fee reduction. The closing date of the application is 1st August 2015.

Study Subject: 

These scholarships are provided to learn any of the courses offered by the University of Sussex (which is not having the following courses: Postgraduate diplomas, Graduate Entry LLB, Common Professional Examination (CPE)/Graduate Diploma in Law, Graduate Diploma in Economics, Masters degrees in Social Work, Social Work post qualifying Masters degrees, PGCE courses and schools direct teaching courses, MSc Automotive Engineering, Master of Education (two years part-time), MA degrees in IDS apart from the MA Gender and Development and the MA in Climate Change and Development and Pre-Masters degrees and diplomas taught at partner colleges which are validated by Sussex).

Eligibility: 

  • A candidate who wish to apply and want to be eligible for a scholarship must be a self-financing student from India and the student must have accepted an offer of a full-time place on a Masters course at the University of Sussex which is going to starts in September 2015. If your offer of a place is conditional then you are required to meet the conditions of your offer before you are admitted to the University and awarded the scholarship.
 
  • The scholarships is related to a full time course which taught Masters degree courses at the University of Sussex (e.g. MA, MSc, LLM. MRes) excluding the following courses: Postgraduate diplomas, Graduate Entry LLB, Common Professional Examination (CPE)/Graduate Diploma in Law, Graduate Diploma in Economics, Masters degrees in Social Work, Social Work post qualifying Masters degrees, PGCE courses and schools direct teaching courses, MSc Automotive Engineering, Master of Education (two years part-time), MA degrees in IDS apart from the MA Gender and Development and the MA in Climate Change and Development and Pre-Masters degrees and diplomas taught at partner colleges which are validated by Sussex.
 
  • This scholarship is available only to self-financing students. If the candidate’s tuition fees are funded by an external funding body then in that case candidate will not be eligible to receive the scholarship.
 
  • The scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarship funded by the University of Sussex. If you have been offered any other Sussex scholarship and wish to accept this award, you will need to decline the other scholarship or vice versa.

Scholarship Open for International Students: All those students who are from India can apply for the scholarship.

Scholarship Description: 

As you all know that it is a part of a wider initiative to invest in excellence, the University of Sussex is very pleased to offer scholarships worth £3,000 for all overseas fee paying students from India admitted to start an eligible Masters course in the month of September 2015

Duration of award: Scholarships are offered for duration of the program.

What does it cover: Scholarship has a value of £3,000.

Online Application: 

All eligible applicants must have to apply for admission for an eligible Masters course via the University’s PG Apply online application system between 1 October 2014 and 1 August 2015. 

If the candidate has made an offer, then the candidate will be asked to indicate the interest in the Sussex India Scholarship when the candidates accept the offer online. If the candidates has accepted the offer earlier than the candidate will be asked to log in and to do the same later. The scholarship will be awarded automatically as a tuition fee reduction to eligible students upon enrolment at the University of Sussex.

Important Date: The closing date of scholarship application is 1st August 2015.
