Manipur Pre Matric Scholarship for SC students 2014:

The Manipur Pre Matric Scholarship will encourage the parents from minority
communities to send their child to school going children and, lighten their financial
burden on school education and sustain their efforts to support their children to
complete school education.
This scholarship scheme will form the foundation for their educational attainment and provide a level playing field in the competitive employment arena. Empowerment through education, which is one of the
objectives of this scheme, has the potential to lead to upliftment of the socio
economic conditions of the minority communities.

Eligibility Criteria :

This scholarship scheme will be awarded to those students who have secured minimum 50% marks in the previous final examination and annual income of their
parents should not exceed to Rs.1,00,000/- per annum from all sources.
There will be 30% of scholarship will be reserved for girl students. If in case sufficient number of eligible girl students are not available, then the balance reserved scholarships will be awarded to eligible boy students.

Scholarship Duration:

The Pre Matric scholarships will be provided for the entire course. Maintenance
allowance will be given for 10 months only in an academic year.

Renewal of Scholarship:

Once the scholarship awarded, then it may be renewed during next academic
year of the course on the production of certificate that the student has secured
50% marks.

Required Documents:

Here we have provided the list of important documents which has to be enclosed along with the application form:
  1. Permanent residence proof copy.
  2. Caste Certificate which has to be issued by the concerned district Tehsildar.
  3. Income certificate of student’s parent.
  4. Aadhaar card copy.
  5. Copy of bank passbook/bank statement where account number, ifec code were mention.

Important Date:

The closing date of receipt of the application is 29th November, 2014.
