Process of Online Speed Post Tracking Facility:

An India Post’s online tracking provides you the facility to access the tracking information and confirm the delivery status of your item by just using the tracking number which is assigned to you at the time of Booking. Now one can find the tracking number on the Postal receipt which is handed over to an applicant at the Post office Counter at the time of booking. For more information kindly read below:

What can be Tracked?
a.  International EMS
b.  Speed post
c.   Registered Mail
d.  Electronic Money Order
e.  Express Parcel
f.   Electronic Value Payable Parcel (eVPP)

How does it works?
The unique tracking system will be updated time to time to gives you with the most recent  information or details available about the location and status of your item. Now you will be able to find out the following details which are furnished below:
a.  When your item was booked
b.  When your item was dispatched and received at various locations during its Journey
c.  When your item was delivered, or
d. When a Delivery Intimation Notice was issued to notify the recipient that the item is available for delivery

How One Can track?
1. You are required to enter the Postal Article Number In the Tracking Number(s) box,
2. After that select the Go button to check your results.

Speed Post (EMS) Domestic – EE123456789IN – 13
International EMS Artilces to be delivered in India – EE123456789XX – 13
Electronic Money Order (eMO) – 000000000000000000 – 18
Registered Mail – RX123456789IN – 13
Express Parcel Post – XX000000000XX – 13

What if my tracking information is unavailable:

If you get a message which tells you that your tracking details are unavailable so , it doesn’t mean that your item doesn’t mailed.
a. There may be a delay between scanning events and the availability of tracking information related to those scanning events.
b. It all depends on that the situation that how recently your item was mailed and the tracking information could not be instantly available.

SMS and Status Facility:
We are pleased to inform that we have launch SMS tracking facility which is a big initiative to provide better service to our liable customers. Initially, the service is available for Speed Post and eMO only. After that whatever services will be announced we will intimate all our customers abut that.

The steps are:

1) You are required to send SMS to 55352 in the following format :
For Speed Post :
SP<space>Speed Post number


EMS<space>Speed Post number

For eMO :

MO<space>eMO PNR No


EMO<space>eMO PNR No

2)’IN’ at the end of Speed

d Post number need not be given. Eg. if the Speed Post number is EE123456789in; you are required  to send the message as : SP EE123456789

3) The remaining data will be retained upto  three months from the date of booking for the purpose of SMS tracking.

4) The service is available all over the country and the rates are charged by the service provider which are applicable and mandatory.
