The active subscriber can easily check their application status with the associated concerned nodal officer who has submitted the application form to CRA-FC.
When the PRAN is generated, then an email alert and also a SMS alert will be sent to the registered and valid email ID and mobile number of the active subscriber. This fast and accurate service is recently available to State Government employees and the same will be made for the Central Government employees too.
How to Check PRAN Application Status through Online :

T-PIN :PRAN & PRAN Kit :
By the successful registration, a PRAN (Permanent Retirement Account Number) will be allotted to the active subscriber. The PRAN Kit contains the PRAN card, Subscriber details which referred as Subscriber Master List, and an important information booklet will be sent along with the T-Pin and I-Pin to the associated concerned nodal office. The PRAN Card is the document with PRAN, which have the subscriber’s name, father’s name, photograph and signature or thumb impression. This card gives proof of the completeness of information in the CRA system. Another copy of the card is required for Tier II activation and also for subsequent contribution in Tier II account. The Subscriber Master List shows all the information as provided by the subscriber in his / her application and accordingly captured in CRA system. Then the subscriber can verify the correct details of the information submitted for registration by looking at the Subscriber Master List.
Subscribers can also call at CRA toll free number which is 1800 222 080 and activate the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) or speak to our customer service executive using the T-PIN (Telephonic Personal identification Number) to know more about the details regarding the same.
Contact for non receipt of PRAN Card :
The PRAN Card will be dispatched to the concerned nodal offices within 21 days that is 3 weeks from the day of submission of the receipt of duly filled registration application form at the concerned CRA-FC office. In case of non-receipt of the PRAN Card, then the subscriber may check with the associated nodal office or the applicant can check the status by activating the CRA website : http://www.npscra.nsdl.co.
Status of the change request through IVR :
The active subscribers can easily check their application status of the change request through IVR. After accessing the IVR using the T-PIN, the subscribers are requires to select the option of checking the status of the request change and input the acknowledgement number which is generated by the CRA system and once the request is processed by the PAO. The subscribers can also speak to the respective call centre executive to check the status and to know more about it.
Timing of Registration :
When the registration form is successfully submitted to DDO, the same will be forwarded to a CRA – Facilitation Centres after authorization by the PAO. PRAN is then generated and the PRAN card is printed and dispatched within 21 days from the date of submitted acknowledgement receipt of duly filled registration form at the CRA – Facilitation Centre.
